Slipping his head through the bristly noose he had made himself the priest gazed up to the obscuring sky, tears had begun to break free down his sickly cheeks. His voice, trembling, spoke to the God he once befriended and now betrayed, "Oh God." The sheer abandonment forced him to speak aloud as it became his only comfort against the now growing dread of Naberius who, hours ago had taken his steps from the summoning into Thomass world, "...what have I done? I'm not worth mercy or forgiveness." His lips began to quiver as the emotion of panic and disgust build from within. His words, cracking from the outburst of tears could no longer be comprehended, "W-what lead me to this?" After a short silence he dropped his head to gaze at his feet, balancing on a shaky barrel beneath him, tears trail down and drip from the tip of his nose. After a few hushed minutes he started to collect himself after the sudden break, his bloodshot eyes trailed out to the grass waving chromatically under the moonlight. Deep, rapid and apparent breaths escape from his still uneasy lips, "I made a mistake but I will correct it. Ill send him back before that son of a bitch pulls me down any further." Thomas and his moment with God had broken asunder as a sudden vibration from the noose above drove him to glance up to a crow clinging on to the rope; it curled its small slender feet around the tough fibers. Looking down to the priest the crow bobbed its head, a soft gurgle sounded out pleased at its findings; it was almost as if the bird was laughing at him. "You've come to mock me?" Thomas uttered from his parched throat, almost choking on his words, he stretched out his arms in defeat, Go on, mock me." It wasnt long until a second crow swoops down perching on the drum under Thomas' feet, a third on the railing behind him until many more descend and roost all around the downhearted priest, none of it caught his attention. His head was raised gazing to the sky, dictated by the pulling noose under his chin, soft sobbing followed as he blinked away the debris pilling in the corner of his eyes, obstructing his view. Though, when every sight and sound no longer became an interest to the priest one particular sound forced the priest to look regardless, as if it was a command. Slowly turning and looking over his shoulder Thomas lost in an instant the little peace that had established on his tear-ridden face. His bloodshot and glossy eyes fix onto the figure walking contently toward him, his trembling voice croaks in sudden shock to the sight, " no.
An emotionally unstable Thomas realizes the fault he commits when summoning the demon Naberius. Fleeing from the convent Thomas readies himself for a hanging thinking he can stop the situation from getting any worse by sending the demon back, of course by killing himself. Though, Thomas will find out that things are going to get a whole lot harder from here on out as he already realizes who has found him.
...is it just me or is there a thick blue line through the crow? It passes right between his shoulders and over his head and tail. It ends right at that feather-split on his neck.

Yeah, there is a thick blue line, but only when I brighten the image. That means your screen contrast is brighter than mine. My photoshop works kinda crappy and this was at like midnight so I was tired. Thanks for letting me know, I fixed it. Better now?
Poor man, he doesn't realize that will cause him undo amount of pain- he should have had the noose tight with the knot at his ear and jumped from a height of about 6 feet. That way his neck would break immediately, rather than suffocate for as long as half an hour.
Sure thing. ^^ I can still see it very faintly, but I have to look hard.
That's one problem with digital art: It doesn't look the same to everyone. Like one of my drawings looks really clear on my computer, but on my grandma's old one it looks more or less like a black splotch. :S

But he's a coward, anyways.
Gorgeous.
